Sourced and manufactured in and around Hanoi, in the rattan-growing regions of northern Vietnam, our pieces are shaped by weaving technique passed through generations of artisan families, meeting kiln-drying, joinery, and finishing methods built for humidity, sun, and daily use — so a chair woven the traditional way still performs like a modern one.
Much of our work runs through Phu Vinh, a craft village southwest of Hanoi long regarded as the spiritual home of Vietnamese rattan and bamboo weaving. Entire families here have practiced the trade for generations, and pieces from this region carry a reputation, at home and abroad, for a level of hand-finishing that factory production simply cannot replicate.
